WILMINGTON – Leadership Delaware Inc. (LDI), a nonprofit organization, is piloting a brand-new educational opportunity for adult professionals of any age. The new six-part Leadership Development Series focuses on teaching leadership skills outside the scope of the traditional Leadership Delaware year-long program.
Taught through classroom style-teaching, interaction, and discussion, this series will focus on the following topics: Leadership and People, Workforce Communication, Leadership and Teams, Leading in a Hybrid Workplace, Public Policy 101, and Public Speaking.
Created to meet the needs of the professional community in the current workplace environment, this program is an opportunity for professionals to become involved with Leadership Delaware and focus on their own skillsets as leaders.
The series will run from June 22nd to August 24th. Classes will be held from 9am-12pm at CSC Station, located at 112 S. French St, Wilmington, DE 19801. Classes will be facilitated by Leadership Delaware CEO, Jennifer Cohan, as well as Leadership Delaware Alumni.
“We are very excited to offer this new certificate program to the professional community in Delaware,” Cohan said. “The course materials were specifically crafted for the current workplace and the need for strong, knowledgeable, and compassionate leaders.”
While this series is open to the entire professional community, company-specific customized training opportunities are also available.
