The State of Solar in Texas [Video]

Book a Call: Solar Surge will teach you all about being energy independent and how to set up your home to run off-the-grid during an emergency. We empower families to take control of their energy generation and storage so that they will never be left in the dark without electricity. In this video, Joe is joined by Will Arvance from All Solar Texas. We are discussing the state of the solar industry in Texas. *FREE eBook* Built to Survive – — CONNECT WITH US — Website: LinkedIn: Rumble: Brighteon: — LINKS — All Solar Texas – YouTube: All Solar Texas:

Innovation Breeding Innovation: How Orkney is Driving Decarbonisation on Land, Sea and in the Air [Video]

Having produced over 100% of its electrical needs from renewables for nearly the last decade Orkney is a pioneer in decarbonising. How has a small archipelago of around 22,000 people found itself at the vanguard of the planet’s attempts to wean itself of fossil fuels? In addition Orkney now also finds itself in the centre of the recent Scotwind offshore wind leasing round, which will see 25 GW of wind installed in the waters across the top of mainland Scotland. Questions are being asked about whether this harvested energy will be put into the electrical grid or turned into other more portable fuels. The world-leading EMEC test centre for wave and tidal energy devices based there is actively leading several projects that seek to answer these questions.Join to hear technical insights about Orkney’s renewable energy production capabilities, covering significant wind and tidal electricity production, with detail direct from Neil Kermode, Managing Director of the EMEC, who will discuss some of the recent successes and advances that EMEC have made in alternative energy projects, covering hydrogen, synthetic e-fuels, combined heat & power and more. Finally, the presentation will identify the potential roadmap of future projects in the Orkney Islands that aim to reduce the reliance on fossil fuels and how EMEC’s work can be applied and deployed outside of the archipelego.Neil Kermode, Managing Director, European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC) Ltd.
