Former Patriots defensive tackle Vince Wilfork's son, D’Aundre Holmes-Wilfork, has reportedly been arrested and charged with stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of property from his father, including two Super Bowl rings.
According to the Galveston Daily News, Holmes-Wilfork, who is 23 years old, was arrested and charged with theft of property for more than $300,000.
On May 10, Wilfork reported he was missing two Super Bowl rings, two AFC championship rings, a college football national championship ring, necklaces, bracelets and earrings. Then, a Patriots fan reached out to the defensive tackle to say someone had been offering his Super Bowl rings in an online sports memorabilia community.
That person has paid $62,000 to Wilfork's son for the rings. The dealer handed them to police once they were reported as stolen.
Holmes-Wilfork was released on a $300,000 bond.
